Slides used in the workshop

Quarto is a powerful open-source typesetting language. Boasting both R and Python functionality, it can be used to write a huge range of outputs including short-form html documents, interactive Python or R workbooks via Jupyter, dynamic accessible slides, or even traditional lecture notes.

This hands-on interactive workshop will teach you how to create and build Quarto documents. The workshop will cover: how to build Quarto documents, writing content in Quarto, working with revealjs slides, and working with longer-form documents such as lecture notes. Templates will be provided for ease of use.

To participate in this workshop, you will need to download either RStudio to your computer, or to use Posit Cloud (a free cloud-based service to run RStudio projects) during the session.
